Million Dollar Quartet

Million Dollar Quartet is a new musical first seen on stage in Seattle, USA in 2007 before opening to audiences in New York in 2010. In 2011, it crossed the pond to wow the London crowds like it did in the US. Million Dollar Quartet tells the true-life story of when Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash bumped into each other at Sam Philips’ Sun Studio and started up a jam session. The date was 4th December 1956, and Million Dollar Quartet will transport you back to a time when these legendary artists created rock ‘n’ roll history.

All musical instruments are performed live on stage and the show is set entirely at Sun Studio on one winter’s evening. It is currently showing at the Noel Coward Theatre and is taking bookings until 28th April 2012.
